This Distillery Wedding day started at The Casso Hotel downtown for getting ready, with a special appearance by Dram & Draught. Then we headed over to the Sacred Heart Church for a Catholic ceremony where Sean got to see Leah walking down the aisle for the first time. These two were meant for each other from the start with a mutual love for food. They both have such an elegant but fun style, which translated perfectly into their wedding day that really spoke to both their personalities!
How did you two meet?
- we were living and working in Arizona, for different baseball teams. Leah was a sports dietitian working for the Cincinnati Reds and Sean was a Chef for the Cleveland Indians. Both teams had a training complex on the same street, a quarter mile apart. We had mutual friends that made the introduction, and the rest is history.
What kind of things do you enjoy doing or something interesting about you two?
- We enjoy cooking together. Sean typically cooks and Leah is a great supervisor. We love camping and being outdoors, every aspect from a nature walk to downhill skiing or being on the river, boating and fishing. Our families are also very important to us, Both sides love us as there their own and we make every effort to spend time with them.
What inspired your wedding decor? Did you have a theme or style in mind?
- Traditional, timeless and minimal.
Leah LOVES her dress, and we have a bike ice cream cart that symbolizes our love for biking!
