I love in home family sessions to capture a new baby because the best time for newborns to be photographed is within 1 week of their birth. This can be quite hard for mom and the rest of the family to get out the door and travel anywhere during this time, so in home is such a nice relief.
I typically recommend light colored clothes, whites or pastels for newborn sessions to keep images light, timeless and no color cast on anyone’s faces.
