This NYC Fifth Avenue Engagement Photography Session in New York City was one of my favorites this year, because of many reasons with the first being this street in Manhattan is iconic and a classic. Sydney and Zach went with a beautiful timeless style, which is what I typically recommend for my couples so that the images are fresh for years to come. I loved the striped dress with ribbons and a hint of green, paired with braided white heels. The second look was a black and white dress that was especially gorgeous when spun around in, which we took advantage of!
Check the highlights below for some of the stops we made in the city!
We started our couples session at the New York Public Library, a beautiful work of architecture with marble fit for twirling and posing on. Were there tourists around? There always are in New York, just embrace it as everyone else is just there for the show.
Fifth Avenue is a well known shopping strip that appears in many movies, and the surrounding city in NYC will always give lots of variety for your location. We spent time just crossing the street and trying to get taxis in the back of the photos (super easy with how many there are always around). Here’s one of my favorite shots from the day above.
We took a moment to pose with the pigeons, who were enjoying some bread thrown to them by someone else.
If you know what to look for, there’s endless spots on every street for a photoshoot in New York City, and you can’t go wrong with such a memorable location!
