Ava and Eric’s Haywood Hall wedding day in the heart of Downtown Raleigh was a classic and vintage style homage, with beautiful blues and whites. Her grandmother and mom had a lot of blue and white pieces at home and she decided to incorporate that into her wedding day. I loved the vases on all of the tables, as well as blues in the stationary to represent those ties with two of the special women in her life.
They met at a sports bar in DC via a mutual friend. Eric had just moved to DC and Travis was visiting him. She was in town for a job fair, and they all met up for a drink and hung out all night. Eric asked for her number the next morning and we started dating long distance.
Ava said before the big day: “I’m really excited about my dress and our custom features like the champagne wall, the ginger jar centerpieces, the bookmarks and the Krispy Kreme donuts late night snack! A big thing we wanted with the wedding was a good guest experience so the features that made the guests happy have brought me a lot of joy.
