BLUE WORLD
This series is inspired by the song “Blue” by Eiffel 65
But why?
Well great question. It was an extremely popular song in the 90s when I was growing up, but was primarily listened to as a funny/dance song. However, when I was alone and listening to the lyrics, I realized it was a much more meaningful metaphor for someone suffering with depression. So I decided to create what it looked like to me in my head for someone to live in a blue world as described.
listen up here’s a story
About a little guy
That lives in a blue world,
And all day and all night
And everything he sees is just blue
Like him inside and outside
Blue his house
With a blue little window
And a blue corvette
And everything is blue for him,
And himself and everybody around
Cause he ain’t got nobody to listen to
I have a blue house
With a blue window
Blue is the colour of all that I wear
Blue are the streets
And all the trees are too
I have a girlfriend and she is so blue
Blue are the people here
That walk around
Blue like my corvette, its standing outside
Blue are the words I say
And what I think
Blue are the feelings
That live inside me
