I asked Aubrey and Chamara what was most important to them for their beautiful Barn of Chapel Hill wedding celebration near Raleigh, North Carolina. They answered, “Prioritizing our relationships with family & friends. We want to showcase the significance of culture and tradition (which will come out in the form of our Sri Lankan Poruwa ceremony, Traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony, Sri Lankan choreographed dances by wedding party).”
Needless to say, this was such a stunning day merging Sri Lankan and Chinese cultural traditions!

More and more couples are opting for a first look moment as there are so many advantages! Two of the biggest reasons are to spend more time together during the day, and to enjoy your own cocktail hour more because we usually would need to do all the wedding party and family images after the ceremony.
The Bridal Party at this Barn of Chapel Hill Wedding was classically dressed in black and satin blue, with pops of spring colors in the bouquets. I loved how it all turned out!
