Halloween Creature Series- Bride of Frankenstein

A storm rages as final preparations are made to bring the Bride to life. Her bandage-wrapped body is raised through the roof. Lightning strikes a kite, sending electricity through the Bride. Henry and Pretorius lower her and realize their success. “She’s alive! Alive!” Henry cries. They remove her bandages and help her to stand. “The bride of Frankenstein!” Doctor Pretorius declares.

Continuing the tradition I started 5 years ago with my first creature, here is my creation for this Halloween!  After I teamed up with hair/makeup artist Katie Vellman for last year’s Werewolf, she made me promise I’d have her involved with the rest if possible.  The Bride of Frankenstein was perfect for this year and I asked Katie herself to be the monster. But of course I wanted to include her counterpart, so Sean suddenly found himself being painted green and joining in.

I love this modern day twist of the two characters, and I did indeed shoot it a little bit like an engagement session.  Can’t wait for next years!
