Tim Burton Halloween Wedding Inspiration
I have been dreaming about a Halloween large scale photoshoot ever since the day I first saw Edward Scissorhands for the first time. I loved the mix of darkness and melancholy with beauty and innocence, and thought it would be a wonderful inspiration for a styled Tim Burton wedding day. goth wedding photography
Inspiration- “Nightmare Before Christmas” “Corpse Bride”
Best Halloween song – Marilyn Manson’s version of “This is Halloween”
I chose a color scheme of the classic black and white and red, with a pop of pink to give it a more bridal feel. Many Tim Burton movies have a sweet female character such as Sally or Alice to offset the darker surroundings, which is what I did for my bride’s look. Her light but detailed vintage style dress from Gossamer was perfect.
As far as additional accessories my own mother contributed a large stuffed heart as a prop, and it was an absolute joy to have the Austin Princess limousine join us and top of the classic Burton vintage look with our bride and groom! This was a true dream come true to see this Tim Burton wedding inspiration come together.
